6 Cyl to (Holden) V8 Conversion
These pages are
going to illustrate a step by step example of putting a (Holden)
V8 into a 1985 Jaguar Sovereign.
Im making these
pages as I myself could not find anything on the internet detailing
this, and just putting the preparation together has been a nightmare
in itself. From people advising me not to do it to others willing
to give as much advice as they could, I just could not find definitive
information on this conversion. This project is not finished yet,
but I will be updating these pages as we go, with as much detail
as possible to help those out there find that this type of information
is not readily available.
There were many
questions, problems and things that I needed to be totally clear
about before I could even decide on which was the best plan of attack,
or whether we should even attempt that it be done!
But through the
help of a friend of mine and speaking to various mechanics, (the
helpful willing AND the unhelpful refusals both), I have finally
landed on my decision to attempt it.
