Beware, and this is a reminder to all, throwing up sites without cleaning your keyword lists WILL land you in hot water if you’re running adsense.
A few weeks ago apparently the big G sent me an email to let me know about possible adult related material on my site therefore it would require immediate attention from me.
Well, I missed this email and subsequently had ads barred from the domain in question. Imagine, im just checking randomly some of my sites and find one not displaying ads. I try and refresh, reload, refresh.. double check code, make sure it hasnt been hijacked. All to no avail.
So as a last resort, I emailed them asking what may be going on. And so of course I get a standard reply saying theyd found adult material being displayed and have stopped serving ads to that domain. And that i should spend some time to alter this unless I want my account cancelled.
So I cleaned it all up and sent them another email.
Got a reply back saying sorry sir, but we cannot reinstate it and that I should be careful in the future…
So before you throw a site up, CLEAN UP YOUR LISTS just a friendly reminder.
